VERDICT: Iberique Du Seuil can take advantage of the four-year-old weight allowance to make a winning debut over fences. A Grade 2 winner over hurdles last season, the Gordon Elliot-trained gelding sets a fair standard for the others to aim at. Although unproven over fences, he should have little to fear from this track, having finished second here on his Irish debut last October. Hallowed Star is somewhat of a course specialist, having recorded two of his three career wins at this venue. Having made a pleasing chasing debut here last time, the seven-year-old looks a leading contender. Point-to-point winner, Fameaftertheglory looks best of the rest. A decent hurdler last term, he has the potential to make up into an even smarter chaser this season.
