VERDICT: Walkonthebriteside is an intriguing prospect on racecourse debut. A half-brother to Grade 1 winner, Champ, he is bred to be a very decent horse. Sam Curling doesn't run that many under Rules but has an excellent record with his bumper horses and certainly knows how to have one ready at the first time of asking. Allibaba has more of a Flat pedigree, so his stamina could be tested at this stiff track. If he doesn't fail on that score then the Willie Mullins-trained gelding could have too much speed for the more stoutly-bred types. Point-to-point winner Affordale Fury has missed a couple of engagements of late but would be of interest if turning up here. While the bare form of his point win isn't that strong, he could do no more than beat the opposition on the day.
