VERDICT: Jon Snow has a course hurdles win to his name and, having missed all of last year, has shown a good level of form in two starts over fences this summer. He was third over 2m2f here on chase debut and first two finished in the same positions in a Grade 3 at Roscommon last week. The French-bred then stepped up in trip to win at Killarney so there are no stamina concerns and he clearly acts well on the course at Ballybrit. Frontal Assault is obviously a danger on the form of his second to Lord Lariat in the Irish Grand National. He also had some smart novice form last term but doesn't have a great record fresh and may be vulnerable after his summer break. Darrens Hope was a disappointment at Listowel but the trip was too sharp for her and the ground too lively. She had some very creditable runs in good novice company last season and, with a run under her belt and the likelihood of easier ground, a much better run can be expected.
