VERDICT: Two from three over C&D with a further second placed effort, Regal And Royal has been a model of consistency since going handicapping last May. Jennie Candlish's charge bumped into a progressive rival in Luminaries, who runs in the other division of this contest (8:10), when filling the runner-up spot at Newcastle last month and a 2lb rise looks fair on that evidence. The son of Doctor Dino is fancied to go one place better, although Chesh, who sports a first-time tongue-tie for this handicap bow, could provide a stern challenge. Mokoro is also noted.
