VERDICT: Tingarran Express has been a model of consistency this year winning at Clonmel and filling the runner-up spot five times including at Tramore last time. The selection beat all bar Slieve Bearnagh on that occasion and the winner advertised the form with a decisive win at Cork last week. Katzoff is 0-32 under both codes but was well supported in the other division of that aforementioned Cork handicap when second to Contrapposto and remains on a lowly mark. Johnny Clarke ran a cracker after a length lay-off when narrowly denied over C&D in May while Applejack Poet has been campaigned on the Flat since winning over hurdles at Bellewstown last summer.
