VERDICT: Shimmy Jimmy showed good improvement on his second start to fill the runner-up spot in Listowel. The form has a decent look to it as the winner then just failed by a head in Naas. Runninsonofagun faced a stiff task in Tipperary, but his opening fourth in Leopardstown was a fair effort and the horse in third has since landed a maiden in Roscommon. Newcomer Admiral Halsey is a half-brother to a 14-time winner no less, while Invincibletomorrow and Sloan are others worth noting on their first starts. Dandy Magic was a satisfactory fourth on debut at Naas last month and can progress with that experience banked.
