    James Best

    Age 5

    18 L
ANALYSIS: Went to post early and unruly start, held up in last pair, headway on heels of leaders 4 out, weakened quickly before next, tailed off
VERDICT: Village Master made most of the running when victorious by four lengths in a class 5 event at Cartmel on his latest outing and he was hit with a 9lb rise. Warren Greatrex's five-year-old has an unbeaten record over fences in four starts and he could prove very difficult to beat. Jigginstown King finished third in a stronger contest than this over 3m5f at Fakenham and the drop in trip shouldn't pose him any problems, while Masterdream makes most appeal of the remainder.
