VERDICT: Captain Dandy was last seen finishing third in a similar contest over 6f at Redcar a couple of weeks ago and, eased 1lb, he could make a bold bid to go two places better for his in-form stable. Bernie The Bear has posted some solid efforts in defeat this season, most recently when finishing third over C&D last month, and another prominent showing is likely. Sirius White steps back markedly in trip and should be running on when others have cried enough.
