VERDICT: Bill Silvers wasn't at all disgraced on his return when fifth in the Spring Cup at Newbury a fortnight ago and the manner of his finishing effort suggested going back up in trip would suit. Wonder Legend was an impressive winner on soft ground at Doncaster before emerging with plenty of credit at Royal Ascot. Gelded since his last appearance in August, he has to be respected along with Maghlaak.
