ANALYSIS: Raced in second, jumped big 1st, settled to race prominent after 2nd, closed on leaders before 2 out, going easily when led before last, soon in command, hard held and very confidently ridden run-in, easily

ANALYSIS: In touch with leaders, every chance when challenging 2 out, pushed along before last, ridden run-in, stayed on but always held final 110 yards, flattered by proximity to winner post

    Age 4 H

ANALYSIS: Towards rear, raced wide and pulled hard after 2nd, went second before 3rd, weakened quickly and lost ground after 4th, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
VERDICT: Stoke The Fire is likely to go off a very short price, and for good reason, because he has displayed a good level of form since going jumping. The five-year-old started off with a bloodless Tramore success, followed by a third in Grade 3 company, and although his latest Naas fourth wasn't quite what was expected, he should still have enough quality to help Willie Mullins towards his first UK trainers' title. Tommys Law was just denied at Ayr and could be booked for second again, unless Bellslea takes a big step forward for the switch to this discipline.
