VERDICT: Tom Cody had Breeze Of Wind back in fourth when victorious at Carlisle, although his rival is 3lb better off and more proven at this sort of stamina-sapping trip thanks to his success over 4m at Hexham last month. Duke Of Deception should have no problem staying either, having occupied the runner-up berth in the North Wales National at Bangor, and he followed that up with a decisive triumph at Haydock. There should be more to come. Bretney failed to fire at Cheltenham last week but can't be written off just yet, and Eider second Prince Des Fichaux is right in this too.
