VERDICT: Although respected, an 8lb rise for Il Va De Soi's Chepstow triumph demands more from him. The six-year-old may be worth taking on, possibly with fellow in-form rival Damarta making most appeal. The son of Martaline should relish this step up in distance if judged on his breeding and he's taken to regain the winning thread. Cloud Dancer's opening mark looks somewhat stiff judged on his latest defeat at Plumpton, but a first-time visor may spark some improvement.
