VERDICT: Omar Maretti should appreciate this ease in class having finished third in a 0-150 event at Carlisle earlier this month. Alex Hales' veteran is now only 1lb higher than his 35-length romp at Catterick in February and a return to the winner's enclosure could be in the offing. Anti Bridgie showed more verve in first-time cheekpieces when making all in a novice chase at Warwick last time out. The seven-year-old mare is a viable alternative to the selection, while Belargus and Hudson De Grugy also warrant a second look.
