VERDICT: Brennus Lescribaa returns following a disappointing pulled-up run in a similar unplaced maiden at Naas in December, but had previously shown ability. His initial two hurdle runs were useful and he ran well behind two smart types at Punchestown, and while reported to be 'post-race normal' at Naas, has at least had a break and contests a weak contest. Whateys Quest's form is in-and-out but he ran well at Cork recently. He has a race-fitness edge, but is vulnerable to more able types. Midweek Voices ran a fine race at Limerick last November, from which the winner, runner-up and fifth-placed horses have won subsequently. He has been well beaten since but if he can recapture his best form, has strong claims. Splendid Choice debuts for a new yard, while Andyourbirdcansing returns from a winter break, with her best form being on a sound surface.
