VERDICT: A fairly open contest in which marginal preference lies with Klondike. A game winner over 1m3f at Newbury last month, William Haggas' expensive colt can make it two out of two, and the fact he holds an entry for the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot suggests he is showing all the right signs at home. Gregory is another who made a successful start to his career and he can give the selection plenty to think about, along with the grade-dropping Batemans Bay.
