VERDICT: It's best to forgive Static Charge a disappointing run here last time as he was reportedly sore after clipping heels around halfway. The Joe Murphy-trained gelding ran well off this mark on his previous two starts including when runner-up to Slick Chick at this venue. Pub Talk was claimed out of Noel Meade's yard after recording his second win here last month, with Trident Star back in third, while former stablemate Shangrilama appears reasonably treated having won a maiden also over seven furlongs here last Wednesday. Michael Halford's string continue in good form on the polytrack and Doctor Grace should again go close, while topweight As Fast As Wind can't be lightly discounted.
