VERDICT: Numidia has shown promise on a number of occasions this year, including over hurdles at Naas, and was fitted with a hood last time when beaten just over a length at Down Royal. That form has been well advertised with the first and second both winning since, and the booking of Joey Sheridan adds to confidence. Dr Patrick won over C&D last winter and indicated a return to form when third to Draco Pulchrac last month, with Spirituoso and Ragtime Red both behind. Pro Bono is another C&D winner in the line-up and now reverts to the Flat after a promising run over hurdles at Listowel for Jimmy Coogan, while Power Drive has shown his best form over this C&D and can't be lightly discounted.
