VERDICT: King Of Scotia was bought for 65,000gns at the Breeze-Up Sale in Newmarket this spring and made a very promising debut in a Curragh maiden over this trip when beating all bar Continuous. That form received a timely boost when the Ballydoyle winner went on to land a Group 3 at Saint-Cloud last week. Song For Whoever had Almendares over two lengths back in third when the pair filled the places on debut in the 6f maiden won by Arinniti here last month. John O'Donoghue's charge came home well and should appreciate this extra furlong. Brighter London also made a promising start at Naas last month, while it will be interesting to see how strong the Joseph O'Brien-trained pair Deus Vult and For The Faithful are in the market. Woodcock Flight is by far the most experienced in the line-up but tends not to find much off the bridle.
