VERDICT: Woven looked to be back to near his best when he finished second over C&D in the Silver Cup at the Western meeting and has a solid chance of going one better today. There are dangers aplenty, though, including the lightly-raced Maple Jack, who is still 2lb well-in despite carrying a 5lb penalty after winning here nine days ago. Classy Al also shoulders a penalty but should still go well.
