VERDICT: This could go the way of the Archie Watson-trained Radetsky Marsch, who showed lots of promise when finishing a good third on his racecourse bow at Sandown last month. There could be more to come from him up in trip, but Eastvan also made an encouraging start to his racing career in August and seems a big threat. Muir Wood boasts an appealing pedigree and completes the shortlist.
