VERDICT: It's hard to oppose Majborough here as he bids for compensation after an unlucky defeat in the Arkle at Cheltenham. The Martinborough gelding did well to stand up after a blunder at the second last and wasn't good at the final fence either, eventually picking up again on the run-in to finish a close third to Jango Baie. He can turn the tables on Only By Night, who was only a short head in front of the selection in a thrilling finish at Prestbury Park. The mare ran a cracker that day and looks like the main danger. Jeannot Lapin is next best.
