VERDICT: Ghaiyya returned to the fray with a solid effort over 1m2f at Newcastle. She rallied gamely in the closing stages to snatch second place and this step up in distance looks in her favour. Hatysa is bred for middle-distances and will likely improve for this longer trip, while Rogue Impact debuts for James Owen and is another to note. Houndsworth finished third at Kempton recently, but has plenty to find with the selection on these terms.
