VERDICT: The King's Falcon has the form in the book after his debut fourth was followed by a Kempton second and if he improves following a gelding operation, he looks likely to get involved. Spirit Of Albion was only beaten a nose at Kempton in November when running on well over a furlong shorter and he can also go close, but a chance is taken on newcomer Jackknife. A Kameko half-brother to the classy Defoe, he may have been found a suitable contest to get off the mark by Roger Varian.
