VERDICT: Wen Moon shaped with more promise than the result suggests when finishing fifth over 5f at Chester last month and, after bumping into a smart performer when runner-up over 6f at Pontefract earlier this week, it would be no surprise if he were able to go one place better off the same mark back at the minimum trip. The ageless Copper Knight is the type to bounce back quickly and he must enter calculations, despite a low-key effort at Newcastle recently. A 4lb penalty for a recent Nottingham victory doesn't discount Never Dark either.
