VERDICT: Cusano improved from first to second start over hurdles when a highly encouraging runner-up at Huntingdon last month and a mark of 98 on handicap debut looks manageable representing in-form connections. Only worn down late in the piece when second at Southwell last time, Ascension Day can give him most to think about, while Jack The Savage has strong claims on his penultimate second at Hereford. Garitsa Bay and The Sad Shepherd cannot be ruled out either.
