VERDICT: Clove Hitch has improved with every start to date and an official mark of 90 suggests that the daughter of Siyouni will be hard to beat in this company. Sambucus and Izipizi have also shown ability and should not be discounted, although both will need to progress to beat the selection. Fior Di Bosco, a 240,000gns purchase, is a half-sister to the 2000 Guineas winner Galileo Gold and is the pick of the newcomers, ahead of stablemate Heaven Blessed.
