VERDICT: The stoutly-bred Cher Tara appeals as just the type to improve for this step up in distance now entering handicap company and the five-year-old could leave modest efforts in maiden/novice hurdle company behind her. The daughter of Kayf Tara shouldn't be overfaced by an opening mark of 87 and she edges the vote over fellow handicap debutant Mays Hill, who looks handily weighted if judged on her bumper form. The returning Nastasiya completes the shortlist.
