VERDICT: Georgecandoit heads the shortlist after posting a promising effort at Thirsk on his racecourse debut a fortnight ago. The selection overcame an awkward start to eventually finish a respectable second that day and can be expected to be a good deal wiser this time. Al Hussar and Jane Garfield have also hinted at ability and warrant close inspection in the betting. Tees Aggregates has plenty of speed in his pedigree and appeals most of the newcomers.
