VERDICT: Soul Of Spain disappointed when a beaten favourite in third at Gowran Park last month, but the step up in trip could work the oracle. There was plenty of promise in his debut second at the Curragh in the autumn and he does hold some very notable entries. First-time cheekpieces are fitted. Cruden couldn't get to grips with the leaders in third at Navan, however, there is plenty to work with from that first start. Northern Sonas showed much more in third when upped in trip at the Curragh and tries a longer distance now.
