ANALYSIS: Slowly into stride and lost considerable ground start, always behind and detached throughout, never a factor
VERDICT: Shawaamekh probably wants a bit further, but is a credit to connections and there was a lot to like about his seasonal reappearance in the Curragh. He found only one horse too good in that big field over 7f and plenty of cut in the ground is ideal for Johnny Levins' charge. Ramiro's third place in a higher grade at the Curragh entitles him to respect and he is a former course winner, while Pinar Del Rio has done little wrong this season in banking a runner-up berth and victory at the Curragh. Levins also saddles Nordic Passage who is dropping down the weights to an attractive mark.
