VERDICT: Dream Composer finished a close-up third in a class 2 event at Goodwood last week and he goes off an unchanged mark, so he would be foolish to dismiss. However, preference is for Billyjoh, who was only denied by a neck in second at Southwell and the four-year-old is able to compete off the same rating, despite being bumped up 3lb since. Grand Traverse and Russet Gold are just two others to consider.
