VERDICT: New York Style is a lightly-raced seven-year-old who returns from a 147-day absence, but has shown enough to suggest she can win this ordinary maiden. Runner-up on bumper debut in October 2022 before missing 378 days, she ran well in a useful Naas maiden in December (from which the winner was subsequently Listed-placed and the fifth later won) and a reproduction would give her every chance. Fairyland Opera is a granddaughter of the high-class Opera Hat and while beaten 22 lengths on her maiden hurdle debut, should progress. Bumper winner Cash The Cheque debuts for a new yard and has useful form on good ground, but returns from a winter break and carries a penalty.
