VERDICT: A Sir Mark Prescott bumper runner is always worth a second look, especially one with the pedigree of Patch Man, who is a half-brother to the ill-fated Grade 1 winner Sir Erec. He changed hands for 100,000 euros as a foal, and again for 85,000gns just under a year later, and is preferred to Handfulofpromises, who showed ability when second between the flags in Ireland. Jessie Jump Jet makes plenty of appeal on breeding and is in receipt of all the allowances.
