VERDICT: Valleyoftheeagles won a maiden hurdle at Killarney this time last year on his second run back after a lengthy break and hopefully he can repeat the trick now on the Flat. The Martin Hassett-trained gelding only failed by a head to peg back Rumi when reappearing over C&D last month with Dark Miss and The Truant both behind. There is little to choose between Make Good and Folly Beach on running behind Nostra Casa in a 19-runner Navan handicap over a similar trip last month, while Highland Train ran well at Dundalk last time and has scope for further improvement. Pigeon House enters calculations having landed a highly competitive handicap hurdle at Punchestown last week.
