VERDICT: Maxi King could not have won any easier on his return from a 383-day absence at Ripon last month and an 8lb rise for that success looks manageable as he goes up to 1m4f for the first time. The son of Belardo may have too much for the progressive Knightswood, who was an excellent second over this distance at Ripon last month. Real Dream won first time out last season and must be noted, as well as To Catch A Thief for his in-form connections.
