VERDICT: Sound Of Iona finds herself extremely well handicapped on last year's turf form and should not be underestimated despite a poor string of results, while Emperor Caradoc, who is similarly well treated, could improve for a drop in trip and the fitting of first-time cheekpieces. That being said, it is Sixcor that gets the vote. Linda Perratt's six-year-old has gained three of his four turf victories over C&D and is now 5lb lower than when finishing down the field in this race 12 months ago.
