VERDICT: South Dakota Sioux was caught further back than ideal after an awkward start when finishing sixth over 6f at Kempton last month. Eased 1lb and stepping up to this trip for the first time, he gets the vote to come home in front. Haalim was last seen finishing a creditable second over 7f here earlier this month and, upped 2lb, he cannot be dismissed with any great confidence. C&D winner Olympic Quest completes the shortlist but will need to bounce back from a below-par effort most recently to take the gold medal.
