VERDICT: So Messi has a dreadful draw in 21, but is race-fit and ran well in a recent handicap. Placed in all three handicaps runs to date, he bumped into an unexposed winner at Leopardstown recently and while 2lb higher and wearing first-time cheekpieces, has form on yielding ground. Adhuil ran well at Gowran on Wednesday and although a 20-race maiden, his rider again claims 10lb and he should get involved. Naisiun won here in March and might be better suited to a mile than when finishing midfield in a recent Curragh handicap over 6f. Badly-drawn (17) Fleetfootsoldier has done most of his racing on the all-weather, but has a good record from three runs on turf and debuts for a new yard. Dual turf winner Hale Bopp has had a busy winter on the all-weather and is holding his form, while Atbay was seven lengths behind the selection (My Birthday Girl was fifth) at Leopardstown.
