VERDICT: It is hard to look past Old Cock, who fared best of those held up off the pace when fourth at Newcastle on debut and, with that experience under his belt, he should take all the beating. Miaswell was sent off a warm order but could only manage fifth in a Newcastle maiden last September. Clearly better was expected and having his first run since wind surgery and a gelding operation, he is feared most. Crown's Lady is respected on her introduction, particularly if the market speaks favourably.
