VERDICT: A highly competitive finale and a tentative selection is Royal Hollow who is fitted with a hood for the first time. Andy Slattery's charge was never out of the first three in five bumper starts last year and found only one too good on four occasions. She ran well on good ground first time out so her absence since October is not greatly concerning. Sansrisk had a couple of good runs over hurdles earlier in the season and has been placed in two bumpers. She will enjoy the drying ground. Holly Brook was well behind Sansrisk when a beaten favourite at Naas but had previously run creditably in a Grade 2 contest at Leopardstown. Cottesloe Diamond was third in a Fairyhouse maiden hurdle on debut and is another to consider along with Arctic Piper whose useful sister won a bumper on debut.
