VERDICT: Having landed a warm premier handicap at Sandown in February, heavy ground might have been the undoing of Saint Davy next time out when finishing a distant sixth at Uttoxeter last month. This represents a drop in grade, however, and with forecast conditions set to be far different today, it would come as no surprise were the progressive seven-year-old to bounce back. Take No Chances found only an improver too strong at Newbury 34 days ago and appears to hold every chance from a 4lb raised mark, while Hyland, whose stable have begun to show signs of a return to form, should not be underestimated.
