VERDICT: Philip Rothwell's stable keeps firing in the winners and Weihnachts could be another for him. This 10-year-old gelding bounced right back to form in Down Royal with an authoritative victory over an extended 3m2f this month. Although he is up 7lb in the weights, he is actually down in grade. Tangental has been a beaten favourite in four of his last six outings, but he is picking up prize money and looks one of the more likely contenders especially off a light weight. Made In The Woods has obtained his best results when racing off the front and, if he gets an uncontested lead, he could travel well for a long way. Fox Le Bel is a long-standing maiden, but is capable of grabbing more place money, while Centurion Steel is one to monitor for market strength in the first-time hood on his second start for Declan Queally.
