VERDICT: Aqwaam boasts a consistent level of form over the winter months and arrives here following yet another solid display when runner-up to Max Vega at Wolverhampton over 1m4f. The step back up in trip promises to suit and he shades the vote in what appears to be a competitive event on paper. Yokkell is likely to be popular having improved since joining John McConnell. That said, she has her stamina to prove on her first attempt over 2m and the main threat may prove to be Bascule, who wasn't disgraced when fourth at Kempton last time.
