VERDICT: Asgard's Captain is motoring through the ranks and, having readily completed a quick-fire hat-trick with a dominant effort at Newcastle on Monday, the four-year-old is hard to oppose turned out under a 5lb penalty. The progressive Bystander, a C&D winner last time, could be the one to capitalise most if the swift turnaround takes a toll on the selection, while Al Rufaa (second) also rates a player and can at least reverse the recent Wolverhampton form with Wadacre Gomez (winner) on revised terms.
