VERDICT: Goldensim (4) has been a model of consistency throughout his career and was unlucky not to have won on the PSF last time at Chantilly. He is effective on turf and deserves to get his head in front again, so gets the nod ahead of Alcotan (7) despite the latter's lack of references on heavy ground. Lingotto (1) proved he has the means to be competitive in a race of this nature by finishing 5th in a recent Quinte+ event, so is capable of joining those rivals in the fight for victory. My Universe (2) is out of sorts but not incapable of getting into the picture.
