VERDICT: In what is a modest handicap, it could pay to side with top-weight Princedeschamps (1) who has been in good form of late on the PSF but also efficient on the turf, having finished 2nd over 2400m on his last visit to this track. Cole Chop (5) caught the eye on his reappearance after a five-month absence when finishing 3rd on heavy ground at Strasbourg and is likely to improve with the benefit of that outing, so ought to fight for victory.
