VERDICT: Ring O Roses may be able to gain compensation here after a narrow defeat at Downpatrick last time. The Flemensfirth mare ran a nice race when third on debut at Navan and was a short enough price to open her account on her return from a short break earlier this month. After a mistake at the last she was collared close home and lost out by the narrowest of margins. She doesn't need to improve much to score now. Estepona Sun could be a danger after a good run to finish third on his return at Clonmel recently. The Last Mardi makes his reappearance having last been seen at Galway in September and is another for the shortlist. He was a dual bumper winner last year and showed a nice bit in two outings over timber.
