VERDICT: Vince Lombardi won in smooth fashion at Hamilton on Friday and a 5lb penalty on this quick turnout may not be enough to stop him from completing a double. The fact that Grant Tuer's four-year-old has yet to triumph over 5f will give hope to C&D scorer Ventura Express, who is now 1lb lower than his last winning mark, although Late Arrival may emerge as the chief threat judged on his returning third at Haydock last month.
