VERDICT: Authorised Speed backed up last season's impressive bumper form with a facile success at Lingfield on his hurdles debut recently, winning with any amount in hand. He looks hard to oppose here even with a 5lb penalty. The winner of this event last year was none other than Constitution Hill and Nicky Henderson will be hoping that his unraced Immortal can continue his fine strike-rate in this race given he's won it seven times in the past 11 years. Godot is also noted.
