VERDICT: Menalippe was a cosy winner of her penultimate start over C&D and although she comes here off a 7lb higher mark, she's clearly in a rich vein of form at present and there appears to reason to suggest why she can't go close again. That said, River Usk was having her first try at this trip when half a length behind the selection last time and is weighted to reverse those placings this time around. Love Fifteen had no chance behind runaway winner Vondelpark at Ripon last month and this sharper distance won't be an inconvenience.
